Justine Fierman Joins Board of Directors of Little Angels Service Dogs

Bartlett, NH – Little Angels Service Dogs, a non-profit Assistance Dogs International (ADI) Accredited organization based in Bartlett, NH, is pleased to announce the appointment of Justine Fierman, APRN to its National Board of Directors.

Fierman is a Nurse Practitioner who specializes in Diabetes and Endocrinology and has more than 23 years of experience in treating patients with both Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes. She recently opened her own practice, Miranda Diabetes Care Center, in Intervale, NH, where a full spectrum of therapies and education are provided to patients including access to screening for Diabetic Retinopathy using a Retinal Scanner.

“We are thrilled that Justine has joined our leadership team at Little Angels; it is great to have a dedicated and respected local medical professional like Justine who has a passion for helping people living with diseases or disabilities,” said Josh Drew, Executive Director for Little Angels. “While Justine and we at Little Angels both help persons with Diabetes, it’s more than that. We are both interested in finding new ways to help persons living with disabilities to lead more enriched, independent lives.”

Fierman agrees and adds: “Anyone who knows me, knows how much I love animals and the opportunity to make a positive impact on others’ lives. I look forward to working with the staff and canines at Little Angels Service Dogs to change lives.”

Little Angels is a collaboration of trainers and volunteers who strive to improve the lives of disabled individuals, through Seizure Alert & Response Dogs, Autism Assistance Dogs, Mobility Assistance Dogs, Hearing Dogs, Diabetic Alert Dogs and Psychiatric Service Dogs for Civilians and Service Members.
